An American teacher has
appeared in court accused of
killing a 24-year-old Hong
Kong man during a brawl in
Tsim Sha Tsui. The incident
happened outside a bar in
Knutsford Terrace last
Wednesday.
The American, Gannon Walter Sutter
Jow, 28, has also been charged
with one count of attempted
murder. No plea was taken. The
case has been adjourned until
Friday to give police time to
carry out identification
procedures.
Cheung Kin-lung
died from a single stab wound
to his stomach. Another man
was injured in the back during
the brawl, which involved more
than ten people from two
groups.
