The chairman of the Action Committee Against Narcotics, Daniel Shek, has said the government will allocate part of the $3 billion Beat Drugs Fund to strengthen its anti-drug messages among young children.

The move comes after a recent study found more and more young children have been taking drugs.

However, Professor Shek said there were difficulties faced by the government in expanding measures to tackle the problem.
