Scientists at the European
Organisation for Nuclear
Research, CERN, have restarted
the giant sub-atomic particle
collider -- known as the Large
Hadron Collider. It's the
world's largest machine, and
first started experimental
operation last year, but was
shut down after only a few
days with serious technical
faults. Now, the researchers
at the European Organisation
for Nuclear Research are, once
again, making beams of
particles circulate in tunnels
under the French-Swiss border.
