Wall St falls on weak recovery fears

21-11-2009

US stocks have fallen for a third straight day as investors took weaker-than-expected results from computer maker Dell and homebuilder D.R. Horton as a further sign that the recovery would be anaemic. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 14 points, or 0.14 percent, to 10,318. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index dropped 3 points, or 0.32 percent, to 1,091. The Nasdaq Composite Index slipped 10 points, or 0.5 percent, to 2,146.
