Fungshui master, Tony Chan,
says the digging of holes at
various Chinachem properties
was part of a 'a daily dose of fun' he shared with late tycoon Nina Wang. Testifying in the High Court in the probate battle over her multi-billion dollar estate, Mr Chan said that he and Ms Wang were lovers who spent a huge amount of time together. The Chinachem Charitable Foundation is contesting his claim to her fortune based on a 2006 will. "We played every day. We shared many
activities every day. Fung
shui was one of our interests,
but we also liked to play with
model helicopters. We cooked
together, we traveled
together," said Mr Chan. He
said he advised Ms Wang to dig
holes at properties owned by
her husband's company in 1992.
Mr Chan also said they had
burnt real banknotes together
as a game, but he denied it had
anything to do with fungshui. However, the lawyer for Chinachem suggested that these were all lies, and Mr Chan had been making things up as he went along during his testimony. |
