 | The Chairman of Ocean Park, Alan Zeman, spoke to Wendy Wong. |
|
| Ocean Park says it'll send two
sick sturgeons back to the
Mainland because they can't
adapt to the sea water
environment being used in the
park. The fish - considered as
rare as the panda - were among
nine that were given to Hong
Kong as gifts to mark the
Beijing Olympics. One died
after it was attacked by a
barracuda. Another died after
suffering an infection. The
two sick sturgeons will be
sent to a site in Xiamen where they will be kept in a
fresh water tank. The park's
Chairman, Allan Zeman, said the other sturgeons in the park are in
good condition. |
