North Korea vows to disable nuke plants

North Korea has welcomed a US decision to remove it from a list of state sponsors of terrorism. A foreign ministry spokesman in Pyongyang said the North would now resume disabling its nuclear facilities and allow international monitors access. There's been a mixed reaction in the region to the US decision. South Korea welcomed the US decision. Its nuclear envoy, Kim Sook, said the development would help to encourage further negotiations. But Japan escribed it as "extremely regrettable". Japan wants action on its citizens who were abducted by North Korea.
