| The Health Department says
it's following up on the case
in which one hundred and four
people have fallen ill in
Macau after having suspected
tainted oysters supplied by a
Hong Kong seafood company.
They felt sick after having
buffet dinners at the Sands
Macau hotel, the Venetian and
the Hotel Golden Dragon. The
Health Director, Lam Ping-yan,
said oysters were considered
as high-risk food, adding that
his department would liaise
with his Macau counterpart on
the case. At the same time, he said the two people who suffered norovirus infection at the Paralympic Village early this week had been discharged from hospital after treatment. |
