At the Olympics.. The
Chinese men's basketball
team's hopes of playing in the
medal rounds have been dashed.
Lithuania knocked China out of
the quarter-finals - beating
them 94-68. The national team
was plagued by sloppy play and
poor three-point shooting.
Center, Yao Ming, finished the
game with 19 points. China
coach Jonas Kazlauskas agreed
that they had been outplayed.
