Inspector dies after being found shot

A detective senior inspector has died after being found with a gun shot wound to the chest at Police Headquarters in Wanchai. The police commissioner, Tang King-sing, said the incident was regrettable, and that welfare officers had contacted the inspector's family to offer assistance. The police issued a statement, saying it would not rule out the possiblity of a suicide. Further investigations are underway.
