Beijing News penalised over photo

A popular mainland newspaper is facing punishment after printing a photograph of some of the casualties from the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. The Beijing News was removed from the news-stands and part of its website blocked after the picture appeared - featuring injured men on the back of a tricycle cart. The Tiananmen Square protests and their violent suppression by the authorities are still a taboo subject in China.
