Woman's body found in Kwai Chung

Police are investigating the
death of a 32-year-old woman
whose body was found in a flat
in Kwai Chung last night. At
about 7pm, the owner of the
flat noticed an odd smell
coming from one of the rooms
and, when no one answered the
door, called the police.
Officers and firemen sped to
the scene and broke into the
room where they found a woman
lying unconscious on the
floor. Her neck had been tied
with a curtain, and she was
certified dead by ambulancemen
at the scene. Initial
enquiries revealed that the
woman had been the tenant of the room. A post-mortem
examination will be conducted
later today to ascertain the
cause death.
