The appeal by convicted murderess, Nancy Kissel, has been adjourned until next week so the prosecution can respond to legal points put forward by the defence. Mrs Kissel's lawyer argued that material about her mental condition from a bail hearing shouldn't have been used at her trial. She was jailed for life in 2005 for murdering her investment banker husband, Robert Kissel, two years earlier. The jury found that she drugged him before bludgeoning him to death.
