Lawyers for convicted murderess Nancy Kissel have told a
Court of Appeal hearing that
she didn't get a fair trial.
Mrs Kissel was jailed for life in 2005 after being found guilty of drugging her banker
husband and beating him to
death at their Parkview flat
two years earlier. Defence
lawyers said the trial was
unfair partly because
prosecutors had set out to
wreck her credibility in the
eyes of the jury, by
improperly asking her to
testify as to why she wouldn't
consent to having her
psychiatrist give evidence.
Government lawyers defended the prosecution.
