The government will launch an open recruitment exercise for a new RTHK head later this month. The decision follows the resignation of Chu Pui-hing, after he was photographed outside a karaoke bar with a mainland woman. Officials are hoping that Mr Chu's replacement will be in place early next year. The recruitment will be open to two types of applicants - those in the private sector and those within government who are at least at D2 level. They must be permanent Hong Kong residents with at least 15 years of experience at a senior level.
