Ocean Park to submit report on cable car glitch

Some 280 visitors riding in
Ocean park's cable cars were
trapped for about ten minutes
due to technical glitches
yesterday afternoon. The Park
says the problem was due to a
damaged conveyor belt. A
spokesman said the cable cars
stopped running after it
safety mechanism automatically
activated. No one was injured
in the incident. Visitors to
the park however said they
remained confident that the
park was safe. The Park will
submit a report on the
incident to the Electrical and
Mechanical Services Department
later today.
