2 charged on conspiracy to defraud charges

The ICAC has charged an RTHK
disc jockey and his sister
with fraud. Leung Ka-fai and
his sister Leung Wai-ka are
alleged to have conspired
together to defraud RTHK by
falsely claiming that Leung
Wai-ka had provided
script-writing and research
services for the station. As a
result, RTHK made payments to
her totalling $10,600. Both
defendants have been released
on bail and will appear in
Kowloon City Court on Monday.
