French voting in final round of parliamentary elections

French voters are going to the
polls again in a few hours
time, in the second and final
round of parliamentary
elections. The new president,
Nicolas Sarkozy, is hoping for
a crushing victory for his
conservative U.M.P party. The
first round of voting saw a
low turnout and deep
disappointment for the
Socialists.
