Lo Wing-lok issues warning on possible bird flu outbreak

An infectious disease expert,
Lo Wing-lok, is warning of
another avian flu outbreak if
the government does not ban
the trade in wild birds.
Doctor Lo said it was not
enough to clean and sterilise
the Bird Garden in Mong Kok.
The market has been closed
indefinitely after the H5N1
virus was found there. Dr
Lo said all the birds there
should be checked for
infection.
