Sir Richard Branson's Virgin
group is reported to be in
advanced talks to build a
US$3-billion joint venture casino complex in
Macau. The Financial Times
says the flamboyant British
entrepreneur, whose business
empire ranges from airlines to
music and mobile phones, is
close to acquiring a 20
hectare site in Macau. It said
Sir Richard had talks with
Macau's Chief Executive,
Edmund Ho, yesterday. He said
the proposed complex would
have three hotels and a
casino, which could open by
2010.
