Indonesia will today slaughter some 200 pigs infected by bird flu. An agriculture ministry spokesman said the pigs were in a village, 30-kilometres from Jakarta. It's close to the home town of the country's first birdflu victims - three members of the same family who died earlier this month. Officials have said there's no concrete evidence of contact between the victims and the farm animals. They also said laboratory tests showed the strain was not a new mutation allowing the disease to be passed between humans.
